Group Life Conversion
If a plan member's Group Life Insurance
ends or is reduced, the plan member and/or their spouse
may be eligible to convert to an individual life insurance
policy without providing medical evidence of insurability.
Conversion must occur (be received by the carrier's head
office) within 31 days of leaving the group plan.
