- Accidents and illness are a part of life. They can happen to anyone at anytime.
- 1 in 3 Canadians become disabled for 90 days or longer, at least once before age 65.
- The average length of a disability that lasts over 90 days is 2.9 years.
- Can you afford to play these odds? If a disability struck tomorrow, would you be covered?
- Why gamble on your ability to earn an income, when you can help protect it with disability insurance.

There are two types of Disability Insurance:

Short-Term - Covers a percentage of your lost salary should illness or injury knock you out of work for more than a few days.

Long-Term - Protects you from catastrophic illness or injury including the inability for you to permanently earn an income.

Unemployment Insurance after a two-week waiting period will cover you for only fifteen weeks. Your need for revenue continues may exceed this time frame. Where will this money come from?

Dominion Group Benefits can provide several policies from different carriers for individual long-term disability coverage, subject to medical evidence.
